ION Solar is a rapidly expanding, full-service residential solar company with a strong nationwide presence. Our dedicated team is committed to making solar energy accessible and affordable for homeowners across the country.
SREC contributes to ION Solar by initiating contact with potential customers through phone calls to introduce them to the benefits of the SREC program.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Gain and maintain a thorough understanding of the SREC program, including its benefits, requirements, and the registration process, to effectively communicate this information to customers.
- Develop and deliver a persuasive sales pitch tailored to each customer’s specific needs and concerns, highlighting the financial and environmental benefits of participating in the SREC program.
- Address and overcome any objections or concerns customers may have regarding the SREC program, providing clear and accurate information to alleviate any doubts.
- Maintain a consistent follow-up schedule with prospective customers who have expressed interest but have not yet signed up, ensuring that all leads are nurtured.
- Use Salesforce to track customer interactions and manage the pipeline efficiently.
- Meet or exceed individual sales targets and quotas set by the company, contributing to overall team goals.
- Ensure that all sales activities comply with company policies and legal regulations, particularly those related to energy programs and customer privacy.
- Work closely with other team members to ensure a smooth customer experience from initial contact to program enrollment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Customer service experience required
- Solar experience preferred
Working Conditions:
Fast-paced, open floor office environment with significant computer and phone usage. Utilization of complex systems. Speed and accuracy are essential to the successful completion of tasks.
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Regular requirement to talk, or hear; frequent requirement to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 20 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. May encounter interruptions throughout the work day.
