Position: Maintenance Supervisor - Day Shift

Department: Maintenance

Reports To: Maintenance Manager

Location: Lebanon, Ohio

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team in ensuring the optimal operation of our facilities and manufacturing equipment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, train and evaluate maintenance team members, including scheduling and performance management
  • Plan, prioritize, and assign daily maintenance tasks across mechanical, electrical, and facility systems
  • Develop and maintain preventative maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and coordinate timely repairs to minimize operational disruption
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and parts inventory
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Partner with production, engineering, and other departments to support operational objectives
  • Manage maintenance-related budgets, including labor, parts, and external service contracts
  • Recommend and oversee equipment upgrades, replacements and process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational certification preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience, 2-3 years in supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems
  • Experience with preventative maintenance systems and work order software (CMMS preferred)
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards

Wokring Conditions:

  • Work performed in a manufacturing environment (primarily indoors)
  • Day shift schedule (typical hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM; adjust as needed)
  • May require occasional evening, weekend, or emergency call-in work
  • Physical requirements include standing, walking, lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces
