The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions by developing and executing comprehensive testing strategies throughout the software development lifecycle. This role collaborates closely with development, product, and business teams to ensure systems meet functional and performance requirements while maintaining strong quality standards. The position also provides mentorship to QA team members and helps drive continuous improvement in testing processes and automation practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test strategies and plans aligned with project goals and timelines.
- Lead functional, integration, regression, and performance testing to ensure reliable and high-quality software releases.
- Identify, document, and manage defects while working with development teams to resolve issues efficiently.
- Support and expand test automation efforts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Monitor quality metrics and communicate testing progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders.
- Partner with DevOps and development teams to maintain stable test environments and effective test data management.
- Identify opportunities to improve QA processes and implement best practices for software quality.
- Mentor junior QA staff and contribute to building a collaborative, high-performing QA team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance roles.
- 3+ years of experience in database testing.
- Experience with test automation frameworks preferred.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing tools, and software development lifecycles.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills.
