The Managed Services Solutions Architect is a pivotal member of the Verinext sales organization. You’ll partner with account executives, service delivery leaders, and product management to design, position, and present managed services solutions across our portfolio. Leveraging both technical acumen and business consulting skills, you’ll guide customers through transformation journeys and ensure proposed solutions align to strategic outcomes.
This role blends solutioning, storytelling, and consultative engagement, helping prospects and customers understand how Verinext Managed Services delivers measurable business impact.
Our onsite arrangement is a dynamic work schedule that is primarily based in the office for collaboration with the various sales, architecture, and operations teams but also includes significant time in the field meeting with customers and partners as a key leader in sales engagement, solution design and delivery of business outcomes.
Requirements
- Partner with sales executives to qualify opportunities and craft managed services solutions aligned to customer needs.
 - Participate in client-facing discovery, workshops, and solution presentations.
 - Develop proposals, RFP responses, and statements of work that clearly articulate value.
 - Architect managed services solutions across Verinext’s portfolio:
 
o Service Desk & NOC
o Managed Backup & Disaster Recovery
o Networking & Security (including Fortinet, SD-WAN, Firewall)
o Cloud Infrastructure Management (AWS, Azure, private/hybrid)
o Observability, Automation, and ITSM process integration
- Ensure designs are operationally feasible and align to Verinext’s service delivery capabilities.
 - Collaborate with service delivery and product management to refine offerings.
 - Translate technical concepts into business outcomes for executives and decision-makers.
 - Build trust with technical stakeholders by demonstrating expertise in IT operations and governance.
 - Influence long-term client strategy around managed services adoption.
 - Stay current on industry trends (ITIL, ITSM, automation, cloud operations, security frameworks).
 - Contribute to intellectual property: service frameworks, solution blueprints, and value calculators.
 - Provide feedback to product management on competitive positioning and service gaps.
 
Job Requirements
- 7–10 years in IT services leadership, managed services, or solution architecture roles.
 - Demonstrated presales experience: leading client workshops, presenting to executives, and writing proposals.
 - Background in IT Service Management, Data Protection, Data Center Operations, or Networking/Security services strongly preferred.
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to identify gaps and develop solutions that achieve business, financial and technical goals
 - Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly gain trust and establish credibility
 - Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to tailor technical depth for appropriate audiences
 - Ability to travel to client sites as needed
 - Strong desire to work across multiple industry verticals and multi-vendor solutions/technology disciplines
 - Extended experience working as a contributor and rising to cross discipline team leader or architect in a corporate IT environment is desirable
 - Certifications across networking, cloud, or ITSM disciplines (e.g., Fortinet NSE, AWS/Azure, ITIL v4 Foundation)
 - Experience with Hybrid/multi-cloud management and governance frameworks
 - Background in enterprise architecture methodologies
 - Deep understanding of ITIL v4 principles and managed service delivery models.
