We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Install Technician to join our team. The Install Technician will be responsible for the setup, installation, and troubleshooting of computer hardware and peripherals. This role is essential in ensuring that our workforce has access to fully functional workstations and support in resolving any technical issues.
Key Responsibilities:
· Unpack and prepare computer hardware for installation.
· Install and set up workstations and related peripherals.
· Perform imaging of computers to ensure consistency and compliance with company standards.
· Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
· Assist users with logging in and navigating their workstations.
· Collaborate with other IT professionals to address and resolve complex technical issues.
· Document and report any technical issues and their resolutions.
Requirements:
· Proven experience in installing and setting up computers and related technologies.
· Familiarity with imaging software and processes.
· Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and software.
· Excellent interpersonal skills for effective user support.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Strong organizational and time-management skills.
· Basic knowledge of networking principles.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree preferred.
· Previous experience in a similar role.
· Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional, or equivalent.
