We are seeking a highly experienced OpenShift Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team. In this senior leadership role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our OpenShift environments that run on AWS. Your expertise will be pivotal in optimizing our container orchestration and cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and architect OpenShift infrastructure solutions on AWS, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Lead the deployment and management of Red Hat OpenShift clusters, including configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies for integrating OpenShift with existing IT infrastructure and applications.
• Establish best practices and automation strategies for running OpenShift workloads on AWS.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and architects, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, uptime, and resource utilization.
• Implement security best practices and compliance controls across OpenShift environments.
• Develop and deliver documentation and training materials for supporting teams and stakeholders.

Experience:

• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in IT infrastructure and a strong background in Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Extensive experience with Red Hat OpenShift, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or architect role.
• Proven track record of designing and managing OpenShift environments on AWS.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, specifically Amazon Web Services (AWS) and services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and VPC.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.

Certifications (Preferred):

• Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
