We are seeking a collaborative, accountable, and people‑focused Sr. Maintenance Manager to lead critical manufacturing assets and teams while driving safe, reliable, and innovative operations through continuous improvement at our West Union manufacturing facility.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and support a diverse team of approximately 40–45 maintenance professionals in a manufacturing environment, fostering an authentic, inclusive, and high‑performance culture.
  • Champion a customer‑centric, safety‑first mindset, ensuring all safety, regulatory, and compliance requirements are consistently met for people, equipment, and facilities.
  • Align maintenance strategies with equipment criticality, operational risk, and business priorities to support safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity objectives.
  • Plan, execute, and continuously improve preventive, predictive, and proactive maintenance programs to enhance equipment availability, reliability, and process control.
  • Ensure timely and effective response to equipment breakdowns, using structured root cause analysis and corrective actions to deliver sustainable, long‑term solutions.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Kaizen, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and problem‑solving methodologies to eliminate losses and improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.
  • Develop, track, and actively manage maintenance key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor performance, enable data‑driven decisions, and support an agile improvement culture.
  • Optimize maintenance costs through operational efficiency, effective energy management, disciplined spare parts consumption, and standardization practices.
  • Oversee execution and full utilization of maintenance management systems, ensuring accurate data, standardized processes, and continuous system improvement.
  • Proactively manage equipment lifecycle and obsolescence risks to support long‑term reliability and innovation.
  • Ensure resources are appropriately aligned by capability and staffing levels, executing training, succession, and development plans to build future‑ready talent.
  • Partner collaboratively with Operations, Engineering, and Technology teams to deliver reliable outcomes that support customer needs and business goals.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of five (5) years of maintenance management experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with a proven ability to engage teams, drive accountability, and deliver results through others.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills, analytical capability, and a growth mindset focused on continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Proven success developing employees through coaching, mentoring, and structured development planning.
  • Experience executing maintenance strategies and performance management using maintenance management systems.
  • Willingness and ability to work in a manufacturing environment while maintaining a customer‑centric and safety‑focused approach.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Technical degree in engineering, maintenance, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Experience implementing best‑in‑class predictive and proactive maintenance practices.
  • Working knowledge of Lean, TPM, Kaizen, and root cause problem‑solving methodologies.
  • Experience with equipment reliability programs, energy optimization initiatives, and spare parts standardization.
  • Background supporting technology‑enabled operations within the Utilities & Energy sector.
