Senior NetSuite Developer

Our NetSuite Developer will play a critical role in supporting/enhancing our ERP system, NetSuite (+surrounding systems), and work closely with the administrator team. We are looking for someone who has significant experience developing solutions and fixing technical issues in NetSuite.

This role is ideal for someone who:

  • Is skilled in technical aspects of NetSuite, can troubleshoot/enhance current functionalities with scripts and workflows, and has ability to design/build optimal solutions that meet business objectives

  • Understands business processes such as Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report

Responsibilities

  • Develop solutions that meet business requirements

  • Oversee the entire development process on projects by leading solution design sessions, development, deployments, and post-implementation support

  • Fix systems issues and defects

  • Support projects to enhance existing systems or implement new ones

  • Build reports and searches as requested

  • Participate in Level 3 user support for incoming requests and troubleshooting that require technical analysis

  • Participate in regular feedback through peer-code reviews

  • Provide technical guidance to other NetSuite developers

  • Collaborate with administrators on technical and administrative tasks

  • Incorporate Agile methodologies in day-to-day activities, and actively plan for and participate in Agile ceremonies

  • Create/maintain technical documentation to be shared with team members

  • Conduct/support testing for system changes and support automation of testing

  • Ensure SOX compliance by properly documenting system changes

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NetSuite functionalities, upgrades, customization and integration

  • Expand domain of knowledge to other systems the team manages and provide technical expertise

  • Ensure system compliance with Company policies, procedures and protocols for system standards, customizations and changes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree – MIS, Computer Science or relevant fields

  • 3+ years of hands-on development experience in NetSuite

  • Extensive experience in SuiteScript (1.0 and 2.x), SuiteFlow, and SuiteTalk

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to work creatively in problem solving environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • System Savvy – ability to find your way around the system naturally

  • Ability and willingness to learn new systems and skills

  • Team-minded and positive attitude

  • Commitment to complete projects on time

  • Excellent customer service skills

Bonus:

  • SuiteCloud Developer Certification

  • Experience supporting P2P and O2C functionalities and their approval workflows

  • Experience maintaining integration with multiple systems

  • Experience working in Agile environment

  • Experience with TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and SQL

  • Experience with SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF)

  • Experience with middlewares ex. Dell Boomi

  • Previous experience working in the following environments is a plus

    • Public Company

    • Software Industry

Compensation:​

Alteryx is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as your relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.

  • The salary range for this role in Southern California, Colorado, Washington, and Rhode Island is $103,300-$139,400.

  • The salary range for this role in New York City and Northern California is $112,600-$152,000.

In addition, you may be eligible for additional compensation, such as a bonus and stock grants. Employees may also be eligible for a wide range of other benefits, including medical, retirement, financial, wellness, time off, employee discounts, and others.
