Alteryx is looking for a highly motivated and intellectually curious Senior Financial Analyst to join our growing FP&A team to support expense budgeting, capital expenditure planning, headcount planning and other key strategic initiatives that drive the long-term financial success of the company. This key contributor role will work on corporate-wide planning and analytical projects, supporting important business initiatives. This individual will need to be detail oriented to understand our business while assessing the big picture and collaborating with others to enhance the success of Alteryx.
Partner with Accounting and Finance teams to drive FP&A month-end close activities; analyze variances, report results, and drive continuous improvement.
Facilitate monthly forecast process across FP&A function and track forecast accuracy. Drive headcount planning and forecasting, including managing Anaplan models for people-related costs.
Support Annual planning end to end, from target-setting to developing materials for Executive reviews. Partner with FP&A business partners to manage submissions in Anaplan, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliverables.
Design complex models and analyses to support business decisions. Support development of materials for Executive Reviews, Board of Directors meetings and Investor conferences.
Drive process improvement and automation across Alteryx. Partner with Anaplan team to build financial models and reports that will further streamline and automate work across Finance team.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of financial analysis experience, preferably within a B2B technology or software company in a finance, strategy or analytics role
Highly analytical, technically strong and effective communicator; expected to drive cross-functional process improvements.
Must thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a high level of intellectual curiosity, focus on generating results and exhibit the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics
Through attitude and accomplishments, display strong initiative for anticipating and meeting the business demands
Highly proficient with MS Excel and Anaplan (or other enterprise planning tool); working knowledge of Alteryx, Workday, Tableau, and NetSuite is desirable
Pay Transparency
Alteryx is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as your relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
The salary range for this role in Colorado, Southern California and Rhode Island is $103,300 - $175,600.
The salary range for this role in New York City and Northern California is $112,600 - 191,400.
In addition, you may be eligible for additional compensation, such as a bonus and stock grants. Employees may also be eligible for a wide range of other benefits, including medical, retirement, financial, wellness, time off, employee discounts, and others.
