Overview
We are seeking a highly accomplished and visionary PMO Project Manager IV to lead and oversee complex, high-impact projects within the power sector. This senior-level role will drive strategic initiatives, ensure alignment with organizational goals, and implement advanced PMO practices across programs and portfolios. The ideal candidate brings extensive project/program management experience, strong power sector knowledge, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams while influencing executive decision-making.
Responsibilities
Strategic Program Leadership
Lead planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale, multi-program initiatives within the power sector
Define program scope, objectives, and deliverables with executive leadership and stakeholders
Ensure delivery is on time, within scope, budget, and quality standards
PMO Governance & Portfolio Management
Establish and enforce PMO methodologies, processes, and best practices
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulations
Monitor portfolio performance and provide strategic insights to leadership
Resource & Financial Oversight
Develop and manage program budgets across multiple projects
Oversee resource allocation to optimize efficiency and productivity
Track expenditures and ensure alignment with financial goals
Risk & Issue Management
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across programs and portfolios
Address issues proactively and escalate when needed
Develop contingency plans and mitigation strategies
Executive Stakeholder Engagement
Act as liaison between program teams, clients, and executive leadership
Facilitate program reviews and provide updates to senior stakeholders
Build strong relationships to ensure alignment and collaboration
Reporting & Analytics
Maintain program documentation (schedules, budgets, metrics)
Generate reports and dashboards for executive and board-level stakeholders
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of progress, risks, and outcomes
Continuous Improvement & Leadership
Identify opportunities to improve PMO processes and tools
Promote innovation and continuous improvement
Mentor and coach junior project managers and team members
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering, or related field
Master’s degree (MBA or Engineering) preferred
Certifications required: PMP, PgMP, PMI-RMP (or similar)
Experience
15+ years in project/program management
8+ years in power/energy sector
Experience managing large-scale programs within a PMO
Strong background leading cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Technical Skills
Proficiency in tools like Primavera, Microsoft Project, or similar
Strong knowledge of PMO frameworks and enterprise methodologies
Familiarity with power sector operations (generation, transmission, distribution)
Soft Skills
Strong leadership and strategic decision-making
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong organization and ability to manage competing priorities
Industry Knowledge
Understanding of power sector regulations and standards
Awareness of environmental, safety, and sustainability practices

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
