We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PMO Technical Consultant with a primary focus on Microsoft Power Apps, supported by Power Automate, to design and deliver business-critical PMO applications. This role is ideal for a consultant who excels at translating complex business needs into scalable, user-friendly solutions that improve visibility, governance, and operational efficiency.

An interest in AI-enabled automation and intelligent process improvement is strongly encouraged, as this role will help shape the next generation of PMO tools and workflows.

The Senior PMO Technical Consultant will serve as a technical lead and trusted advisor, owning Power Apps–based solutions end-to-end and driving PMO modernization through automation and emerging AI capabilities.

End-to-End PMO Application Leadership

• Lead PMO technology initiatives from requirements gathering through design, development, deployment, and post-launch support.
• Own solution architecture and delivery for Power Apps–based tools, ensuring alignment with PMO standards, governance, and business objectives.
• Define scope, timelines, and deliverables while managing stakeholder expectations and dependencies.

Power Apps (Primary Focus)

• Design, build, and maintain Canvas and Model-Driven Power Apps that support PMO workflows, data collection, governance, and operational reporting.
• Bring 6+ years of hands-on Power Apps experience to architect scalable, enterprise-ready applications.
• Create intuitive, user-friendly experiences that balance usability, performance, and long-term maintainability.
• Implement role-based access, validation logic, and integrations across enterprise systems.
• Develop and maintain technical and functional documentation for Power Apps solutions to support adoption, maintenance, and knowledge transfer.

Power Automate (Supporting Focus)

• Develop and maintain Power Automate flows that support Power Apps, including approvals, notifications, data synchronization, and background processing.
• Optimize workflows for reliability, performance, and long-term supportability.
• Troubleshoot, enhance, and refactor existing automations as business needs evolve.

SharePoint (Supporting / Nice-to-Have)

• Utilize SharePoint lists, libraries, and sites as data sources and collaboration hubs for Power Apps solutions.
• Help improve SharePoint structures to support governance, documentation, and automation needs.

AI & Intelligent Automation (Growth Area)

• Identify opportunities to introduce AI-assisted capabilities such as intelligent data validation, summarization, pattern recognition, or predictive insights.
• Collaborate on or pilot AI-enabled enhancements using Power Platform–adjacent tools (e.g., Copilot features, Azure AI services).
• Apply a practical, business-focused mindset to AI adoption within PMO processes.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Business Analysis

• Partner closely with PMs, leadership, and operational teams to understand workflows, pain points, and priorities.
• Translate business requirements into well-designed Power Apps and automated solutions.
• Communicate progress, risks, and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Data Integration & SQL Support

• Integrate Power Apps with SQL Server, Dataverse, SharePoint, APIs, and other enterprise data sources.
• Ensure data integrity, performance, and scalability across all solutions.

Governance, Documentation & Standards

• Establish and follow best practices for Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, solution architecture diagrams, user guides, and support documentation.
• Ensure solutions are well-documented, supportable, and aligned with PMO governance and compliance standards.

Mentorship & Technical Leadership

• Mentor junior developers and PMO technical staff in Power Apps and Power Automate best practices.
• Review solutions for quality, maintainability, and scalability.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor within the PMO.

• Strong hands-on experience with Power Apps (Canvas and/or Model-Driven).
• Solid experience with Power Automate, particularly in support of Power Apps solutions.
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end Power Platform solutions in PMO or enterprise environments.
• Working knowledge of SQL and data integration concepts.
• Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives while maintaining high solution quality.
