Overview

Position Summary:

The Enterprise Application Lead will oversee the management, implementation, and optimization of our enterprise-level applications, with a specific focus on Bentley Systems products and ProjectWise administration. This role will include aligning with our administrators throughout the company, software partners, procurement and leadership stakeholders in ensuring applications are available and managed effectively.

The ideal candidate will have a technical background, leadership skills, and experience in managing Bentley software solutions, including ProjectWise, to drive operational efficiency and project success.


Responsibilities

Enterprise Application Lead, Information Technology

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Application Oversight:
    • Develop and execute strategies for the implementation and optimization of software solutions in supporting the business.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions using Bentley products.
    • Ensure enterprise applications align with organizational goals and industry best practices.
    • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure applications are optimized for performance and scalability.
    • Provide technical guidance including pulling in partners as needed to provide training as needed for employees
    • Foster collaboration between IT and engineering to ensure successful application deployment and usage.
  2. Bentley:
    • Oversee the Bentley relationship including weekly touchpoint calls with our account team, software deployments, license optimization and reporting.
    • Serve as the lead for Bentley ProjectWise in aligning with administrators for support and oversight.
    • Oversee any changes and or maintenance of ProjectWise hosted environment, including data sources, user permissions, and system integrations.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ProjectWise performance, connectivity, and functionality.
  3. Application Maintenance and Support:
    • Oversee the ongoing maintenance, updates, and upgrades ensuring optimal performance and security.
    • Develop and implement processes for monitoring and managing application performance and availability.
    • Develop technical support playbooks in supporting applications
  4. Project Management:
    • Lead application-related projects, including planning, resource allocation, and risk management.
    • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
    • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or related experience.
  • Experience in supporting enterprise software solutions used throughout a company including leading a rollout, optimization and support.
  • Proven experience in administering and managing Bentley ProjectWise, including user management, workflows, and system configurations.
  • Experience with Autodesk, Bentley Systems & ESRI products
  • Experience with system integration and data exchange between software products and other enterprise systems.
  • Experience in scripting and automation tools for application administration (e.g., PowerShell, SQL scripting) preferred
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.

Salary Range
