Overview
TRC is seeking an Outreach Manager to engage with stakeholders in working towards clean energy goals. The position is based in TRC’s Monroeville, PA office and works across industries including local governments, commercial and industrial contractors, vendors, and customers regarding the implementation of energy efficiency rebate and incentive program offerings.
Responsibilities
- Leads a team/ manages staff.
- Measures targets in terms of participation and energy efficiency savings, tracks KPI’s and ensures program goals are met.
- Capable of managing mid to large scale or complex projects or multiple projects within scope of program or portfolio.
- May be responsible for managing scope, utilization, revenue, and budget within a project.
- Capable of managing multiple delivery workstreams and/or teams to execute work within complex projects.
- Resolve problems by quick and adept thinking and implementing steps that address a recurrence in the future.
- Develops and implements clear and detailed delivery plans for complex / matrixed engagements.
- Acts as key client contact for major contract / initiative with increased relationship responsibility with client, including multiple levels of contacts within the client environment.
- Capable of strategically managing a client or clients to assist in the expansion of the relationship in support of business growth.
- Acts as mentor and coach to develop internal talent.
- Takes an integral role in project development and execution.

- Identifies and converts high potential leads within a designated territory or market segment.
- Prepares and updates materials for trade shows and events.
- Attend and present at tradeshows and events as necessary, to promote and educate businesses on the benefits of the Program.
- Travel expectations within assigned territory.
Qualifications
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications are those an applicant must possess to be considered a candidate for the position.
- Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of relevant experience
- Experience evaluating the effectiveness of outreach efforts and suggesting alternatives.
- Excellent oral, presentation, and written communications skills.
- Understanding of target audience and how to effectively engage multiple levels of decision making within a company, municipality, or other local government or state agency.
- Team-oriented, hands-on, highly skilled, adaptive, and client-focused.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred qualifications are not required for an applicant to be considered a candidate for the position.
- Sales or business development experience, preferably within the energy sector, or the design or construction industries.
- Energy efficiency-related certifications are a plus, such as Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or LEED AP (Accredited Professional).
- Experience working with state agencies, public authorities or utilities preferred.
- Experience with commercial or industrial site energy efficiency evaluations or audits a plus.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.

Salary Range
USD $118,747.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.
