Overview
TRC’s Digital & AI Program seeks a dynamic Project Manager with a proven track record in driving organizational change through strategic program execution. This role is based in India and will serve as a critical liaison between our India-based development team and US-based PMs, digital innovation team members, and business stakeholders. You are expected to engage with various business leaders and stakeholders to understand how data-driven changes to process, services, software and hardware can improve efficiencies and add value. You must be able to not only articulate those ideas but also balance them against what’s technologically feasible and financially and functionally reasonable.
Responsibilities
- Conduct general or (as appropriate) specific business analyst competencies including process definition and improvement, process flowcharts, requirements definition/analysis, software/system testing, system documentation and team leadership responsibilities.
- Design & develop project materials such as requirements documents, design documents, implementation plans, governance plans, and organizational readiness plans.
- Create a detailed business analysis outlining problems, opportunities and solutions for a business or problem.
- Manage and execute key programs from ideate through design and implementation, with the ability to track and measure key performance measures and impact.
- Work closely with stakeholders and team members to understand and support project delivery expectations. Clear and professional written and oral communications is critical.
- Break down complex projects with multiple sub-projects into a cohesive plan. Identify key steps and critical milestones to ensure successful delivery. Takes into account sequencing and timing of critical activities and milestones as appropriate to achieve desired outcomes.
- Lead various business meetings and discussions with key stakeholders, including requirements and architecture reviews, and delivering technical and business impact presentations.
- Manage timelines for multiple projects and/or work threads, simultaneously, and identify delays / roadblocks and escalate as appropriate to leadership for support.
- Effectively engage with technical teams to deliver clear requirements and serve as a critical go-between for the business and technical teams to ensure technical development aligns with business needs.
- Collaborate closely with the India development team to manage tasks, timelines, and execution, ensuring projects stay on track and escalating issues as needed.
- Act as a liaison between US-based PMs and the development team in India, fostering proactive communication and collaboration to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Leverage experience to help brainstorm and identify alternative paths when roadblocks arise between business and technical teams.
- Provide UI/UX guidance, helping to ensure the technology created provides both functional and appealing features that address our clients’ needs, meet our internal users’ requirements, and help us grow our customer base.
- Manage product budgets and cost of delivery.
Qualifications
- 7+ years related experience managing consulting projects
- Excellent oral & written communication skills and attentive listener
- Detail-oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy and consistency
- Extensive experience in roles combining business analysis/intelligence, research, and strategy
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and sharp business judgment
- Passionate about data analysis and storytelling through datasets
- Addresses difficult problems head-on and challenges the status quo
- Adaptable, self-motivated, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Highly collaborative and can work cross-functionally, while cultivating relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
- Knowledge of SDLC processes and developing user stories is a plus
- Experience maintaining projects, sprints, tasks, GitHub connections, teams, and dashboards in Azure DevOps platform will be considered a plus
- Proven track record of managing large bespoke software product development projects
- Ability to hold team members responsible for deliverables and work with them to mitigate any gating situations
