Overview

TRC is seeking an experienced and highly skilled QA/QC Officer with a strong background in water treatment located in San Fransico, CA.

Scope: QAQC oversight on Water Treatment Plant upgrade including disinfection related upgrades. Knowledge on water quality monitoring and optimization to provide understanding of QAPP and oversight. .


Responsibilities

  • Develops, plans, executes and manages the district construction quality assurance program for the project. The quality assurance program is a system of procedures that defines planned and systematic activities executed in the course of a job to fulfill the project’s quality requirements.
  • Manages quality assurance material testing, reviews technical submittals for conformance with the contract documents, reads and interprets technical specifications, recommends to District Project Manager issuance of deficiency notices for non-conformances, and monitors the construction contractor’s execution of their quality control plan.
  • Attends as the Districts primary representative the contractors QC preparatory, initial, and follow-up phase meetings for each definable work feature.
  • Reviews and approves contractor quality control, Construction Quality Assurance Inspectors, and District quality assurance daily field reports.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience providing construction management services within the last fifteen years for at least two verifiable water utility infrastructure construction projects, each valued at $20 million or more.
  • Demonstrated experience within the last five years providing quality assurance and quality control services in accordance with the three phase US Army Corps of Engineers CQM/QC guidelines for at least one verifiable utility infrastructure construction project valued at $20 million or more
  • Current certification of completion of Construction Quality Management for contractors offered by the United States Army Corps of Engineers and Navy Facilities Engineering Command.
  • A baccalaureate degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or in a relevant engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
  • At least three years of using CM software systems.

Salary Range

USD $199,680.00 - USD $230,000.00 /Yr.
