Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Chemical Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to support our industrial clients in identifying energy efficiency opportunities that reduce operating costs and minimize energy waste. In this role, you will analyze energy consumption patterns, develop predictive regression models, and verify energy savings. Working collaboratively with our team of engineers, you will evaluate existing manufacturing systems, recommend improvements, and implement strategies to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Additionally, you will design and conduct energy systems training for operations and maintenance personnel, ensuring sustainable practices. As a mentoring coach, you will oversee the implementation of action plans, monitor performance, and provide ongoing engineering support to clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct statistical analyses and develop energy production models to optimize energy efficiency and maximize cost savings.
- Perform comprehensive manufacturing and energy audits to identify opportunities for operational and maintenance-related energy savings.
- Recommend and evaluate new equipment, technologies, or methods to improve productivity and reduce energy waste.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic energy management processes.
- Mentor client energy teams, fostering the adoption of sustainable energy management practices.
- Design and deliver training programs for operations and maintenance personnel to build expertise in energy systems.
- Provide ongoing engineering support, including performance monitoring and troubleshooting, to ensure the success of energy efficiency initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or a related field; Master’s or Doctorate preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience leading process engineering and energy efficiency projects.
- Extensive knowledge of chemical engineering principles, energy systems, and manufacturing processes.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and applying statistical and regression models, especially data organization, manipulation and analysis in MS Excel
- Experience with VBA or other programming languages used for data analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other engineering analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to mentor and train diverse teams.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
