Overview
TRC is seeking a highly skilled Database & Display Developer for a project in the gas utility domain. The Database & Display Developer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of the SCADA system.
Responsibilities
- SCADA database & display development for the implementation of an AVEVA Enterprise SCADA 2021 (formerly OASyS) system, establishing methodology, test scenarios, and can manage a team of SME’s performing the work.
- Working with SCADA vendor on the database & displays, quality verification and remediation, etc.
- Working with the project manager providing clear and accurate weekly project reporting
- Acting as a champion to foster a positive project work environment; and successfully lead the database track to accomplish all the project objectives
- Maintain practices and procedures that support enterprise service management, governance, and regulatory processes
- Collaborate with various departments including Control Center Operations, SCADA, and IT
Qualifications
- Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience related to SCADA, software development, and operational support of real-time control systems
- Experience with SCADA system databases
- Experienced in the implementation and maintenance of large-scale SCADA systems running on a major vendor platform
- Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage multiple priorities and competing demands with tight timelines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to clearly present information to various audiences in both formal and informal settings
- Strong customer service focus with the proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and internal and external stakeholders which includes excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to deploy a structured approach to problem solving and work practices
- Familiarity with systems development methodologies, requirements analysis, system design and testing methods
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Ability to travel up to 20% in North America
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Familiar with AVEVA Enterprise SCADA 2021 DB and Display management and maintenance processes

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.

Salary Range
USD $82,014.00 - USD $130,000.00 /Yr.
