TRC is seeking Bridge Engineer to join our dynamic team supporting clients statewide from our offices located in Pennsylvania with the availability to conduct field work within Pennsylvania. The Bridge Engineer I will perform engineering tasks of entry to moderate complexity on various Bridge and structures design projects and accomplished through understanding and applying PennDOT standards, manuals, guidelines, policies, directives and utilizing computer software applications. The candidate be a team player, and be enthusiastic in working with other engineers, project managers, and other technical staff assisting with planning, designing, and overseeing civil engineering projects, such as the inspection, load rating and design of new bridges and bridges to be rehabilitated.

• Produce, verify, and validate structural calculations and construction drawings.
• Efficiently produce quality deliverables while meeting budget and schedules on multiple concurrent projects.
• Perform calculations and analyses for complex aspects of various types of structures
• Participate in on-site inspections to assist with identifying deficiencies.
• Develop non-standard structural details.
• Assist with the preparation of special provisions and construction cost estimates.
• Attend client meetings.
• Assist with proposal preparation for new projects

• Ability to critically analyze and creatively solve challenges.
• Good written and oral communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Desire to work in a respectful team environment.
• Proficient with related software and tools required to perform this type of work, such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Mathcad, and Bluebeam.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
