We are seeking an experienced Senior Power Platform Developer with 8+ years of expertise in Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a key role in designing and implementing business process automation, developing custom applications, and creating business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, experience in managing teams, and the ability to work both as an individual contributor and as a collaborative team player.

• Key Responsibilities:

  • Power Automate Development: Design and implement Power Automate workflows to streamline and automate business processes. Create seamless integrations between systems, trigger notifications, and ensure real-time data accessibility for enhanced operational efficiency.
  • Power Apps Development: Develop and deploy custom Power Apps solutions to automate workflows, improve productivity, and address business needs. Integrate Power Apps with backend systems and other Microsoft tools for a cohesive user experience.
  • SharePoint Integration: Leverage SharePoint for document management, collaboration, and as a data source for Power Apps and Power Automate workflows. Ensure efficient integration and optimization of SharePoint-based solutions.
  • Power BI Development: Design and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights. Utilize advanced Power BI features, including DAX and Power Query, to deliver high-quality analytics.
  • SQL Server Expertise: Utilize SQL Server for database design, querying, and optimization. Ensure efficient data extraction and transformation for reporting and automation purposes.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead a team of developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise. Foster collaboration to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, understanding their needs and translating them into actionable solutions. Regularly update stakeholders on project progress and outcomes.
  • Individual Contributor: While taking on a leadership role, the candidate will also be expected to work independently, particularly on complex reporting tasks or when tight deadlines arise.
  • Data Integration & ETL: Integrate data from various sources (SQL Server, SharePoint, cloud-based systems, and third-party APIs) and ensure smooth ETL processes for data accuracy and consistency.
  • Performance Tuning & Optimization: Ensure that Power Platform solutions, including Power BI reports and workflows, are optimized for performance and scalability.
  • Documentation & Best Practices: Create and maintain technical documentation, ensuring adherence to best practices in data governance, automation, and security standards.

• Skills Required:

  • Power Automate: Proficiency in designing and managing workflows to automate business processes, integrate systems, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Power Apps: Strong experience in building and managing Power Apps applications to address business needs and improve productivity.
  • Power BI: Experience in developing Power BI reports and dashboards, including advanced features like Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service.
  • SQL Server: Expertise in SQL Server database management, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and optimizing database performance.
  • Team Leadership: Proven experience in leading and mentoring a development team, ensuring the successful completion of projects while fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and manage client expectations.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify issues and propose effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Project Management: Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and prioritize effectively while working both independently and in a team setting.

  Must-Have Skills:

  • 8+ years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying Power Platform solutions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Power Automate, Power Apps, and SharePoint integration.
  • Strong experience in working with large datasets and optimizing workflows and reports for performance.
  • Expertise in SQL for complex data querying, transformations, and integrations with Power Platform tools.
  • Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with other systems and data sources (Microsoft Outlook, SQL, SharePoint, Excel, etc.).

  Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Familiarity with other Business Intelligence tools, such as Tableau, QlikView, or Looker, for cross-platform integration and versatility in BI environments.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms, such as Azure or AWS, and experience deploying and managing solutions in cloud-based environments.
  • Experience with Power BI Embedded for integrating BI reports into third-party applications or web portals.
  • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for Power Platform administration, deployment, and automation tasks.
  • Experience with data warehousing concepts and solutions, including ETL processes and tools like Azure Data Factory or SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
  • Knowledge of Data Governance and best practices in data security, privacy, and compliance for Power Platform applications.
  • Experience with Agile project management methodologies and working in cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
