TRC Companies, Inc., a leader in engineering consulting, is looking for a highly motivated self-starter to join our team as a Lead Access management in Hyderabad, India. We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our user access management team, responsible for overseeing business user access permissions and onboarding/offboarding users across various applications within a global organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in stakeholder management and application user access management. This role involves managing a team, ensuring seamless service delivery, and implementing best practices in user access management.
Responsibilities
- Access Management and Oversight:
- Manage and monitor access to various business applications across the organization
- Oversee the creation, provisioning, securing, and deactivation of user accounts
- Generating reports and analytics to support business decision-making.
- Analyse periodic reports on access and license utilization to identify opportunities for cost savings through redistribution of unused allocations.
- Cost Optimization:
- Perform analytics to optimize access and license usage, reducing unnecessary costs.
- Develop strategies to reallocate unused licenses or accesses, ensuring efficient resource utilization.
- Workflow Development:
- Design and implement workflows for receiving access requests and approval mechanisms using ticketing tools.
- Ensure that all access requests are properly documented and approved in accordance with established policies.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with application service providers and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business units to ensure that access levels are appropriate and aligned with business needs.
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):
- Develop detailed SOPs for access management, ensuring clarity and consistency across the organization.
- Regularly review and update SOPs to reflect changes in policies, technologies, or business requirements.
- Audit Support:
- Provide necessary evidence and support during audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with audit teams to address any findings or recommendations related to access management.
- Team Management:
- Lead and manage a team of access management professionals, ensuring that all team members are trained and equipped to handle their responsibilities effectively.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to adopt best practices in access management.
- Service Continuity:
- Ensure flexible shift timings to support customer windows and maintain service continuity.
- Develop backup plans to prevent service disruptions during peak periods or unexpected absences.
- Industry Best Practices:
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in access management.
- Implement these practices within the organization to enhance security, efficiency, and compliance.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in a similar role, preferably in a global organization.
- Background: Non-technical background with strong experience in customer management and application user access management.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Proficiency in using ticketing tools and workflow management systems.
- Strong understanding of access management principles and regulatory compliance.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts and support global customer windows.
- Education: Master or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
