Overview
TRC is seeking an Associate Project Manager with experience in New Jersey environmental regulations, investigation and remediation to join our New Providence, NJ team, both managing projects independently and providing project and task management support for our most experienced environmental project managers/LSRPs. This position will require working on multiple projects concurrently, managing demanding schedules and working with a team of environmental professionals moving projects from initiation to completion for our clients. This requires the candidate to be self-motivated, independent, problem-solving, results-oriented and able to re-prioritize as required.
Responsibilities
- The performance of project management functions from the proposal phase though project completion including client and/or regulator communication, subcontractor coordination and subcontracting, staffing, scheduling, financial tracking, and invoicing.
- The preparation of detailed scopes of work and cost estimates for implementation of project tasks.
- The writing and review of technical reports and creation of associated supporting figures and attachments, ensuring quality and consistent delivery of materials.
- The ability and willingness to employ strong written and oral communication skills and work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team that solves client problems and exceeds client expectations.
Qualifications
- B.S. or B.A. in geology, engineering or environmental science.
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification, including current annual refresher.
- A minimum of 10 yearsof environmental consulting experience with primary focus on managing soil and groundwater investigation, remediation and related projects in New Jersey.
- Strong experience with applicable New Jersey Administrative Code and NJDEP CSRR guidance.
- Excellence and efficiency in writing, communication, data analysis, and professional judgment based in scientific principles and understanding of client needs.
- Bedrock groundwater investigation and remediation experience is desirable.
- Additional professional licenses such as PE, PG, or CPG are desirable.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check and motor vehicle records check.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.

Salary Range
