Responsibilities
TRC is a global consulting firm providing environmentally advanced and technology-powered solutions for the oil and gas, power and infrastructure markets. We have every discipline under one roof performing full-service integrity management services including program development, data validation, risk analysis, corrosion evaluation, integrity engineering and integrity field services.
TRC is growing tremendously and seeking an Integrity Regulatory Corrosion Specialist to join our Integrity Engineering Services team to assist in the design, development, and implementation of integrity management programs for pipeline networks and facilities.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a related field. This is an entry-level position, requiring some technical and communication skills, with a focus on client service. Hazardous Liquids and Gas Pipeline industry experience and previous experience working with GIS data are both highly desired not required.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with written pipeline and facilities integrity program development
- Develop written Operations and Maintenance (O-M) process
- Develop written Damage Prevention and Operator Qualification programs
- Develop written Safety Management Systems programs
- Prepare technical reports and assist with proposal development
- Work closely with customers to ensure projects exceed expectations and requirements
- Work seamlessly with internal teams and assist other groups as needed
Qualifications
- BS/BA degree (any field)
- Excellent technical writing skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented and committed to delivering quality work with minimum oversight
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel as needed, estimated 10%
- Microsoft Word, Visio, Excel
Preferred Skills (Desired not Required):
- 2-3 years of Integrity Engineering experience or Hazardous Liquids and Gas Pipeline experience
- Working knowledge of pipeline standards and regulations including ASME B31.4 and B31.8 as well as 49 CFR Parts 192 and 195
- Experience working on MAOP Calculations
- Efficient in MS Office
- Geographic Information System (GIS) Software (ArcGIS, QGIS)
- Database Experience (Oracle, SQL Server, SSMS, PL/SQL Developer, Access)
