Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Process Excellence Analyst to join our Shared Services team in India. The role will be processing mapping and support the continuous improvement of operations across key functions and starting with HR as priority. The successful candidate will play a critical role in enhancing process efficiency, mapping workflows, documenting processes, and driving initiatives that improve overall service delivery.


Responsibilities

  • Process Mapping & Documentation: Lead efforts in mapping and documenting current processes across functions and starting with HR as priority ensuring clear representation and identification of gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, and other process optimization tools to enhance process efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality within Shared Services operations.
  • Tools & Methodologies: Utilize key process improvement tools including RACI matrices, SIPOC diagrams, FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis), and other frameworks to document and improve processes across functions.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with diverse teams across different functions to gather data, understand existing processes, and build consensus on process improvements. Engage stakeholders at various levels and across departments to drive alignment.
  • MIS & Dashboards: Develop and maintain effective Management Information Systems (MIS) and dashboards to track metrics, actions logs, and performance metrics for continuous monitoring and reporting to leadership.
  • Reporting & Insights: Provide regular reporting on process performance, highlight improvement opportunities, and report on the progress of ongoing improvement initiatives to the Shared Services leader.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience
  • A Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related discipline is a plus.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 7 to 9 years of experience in process improvement, process mapping, and process documentation, with exposure to HR, Finance, other BPO functions.
  • Prior experience in Shared Services (Captive) or BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) operations is essential.

  • Certifications:
    • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or similar certifications in process improvement are highly preferred.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Strong understanding of core business functions, especially HR and Finance.
    • Proficient in process mapping & improvement tools (e.g., SIPOC, FMEA, RACI, etc.).
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business acumen.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage diverse teams with varying skill sets.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word) and familiarity with process mapping and software (if any).
    • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

Location and Shift timings:

This is a full-time position based at our office in Hyderabad, India. The shift for this role will be a 9-hour window between 09:00 AM and 11:00 PM [ Some preferred options are 11:00 AM – 08:00 PM / 12:30 PM – 09:30 PM /02:00 PM to 11:00 PM]. The candidate must demonstrate flexibility to work during instructed shift time as needed for critical business requirements.
