Overview

The Application Solutions Analyst will support digital transformation through the coordination of the Power Sector’s document and data management system, application integration, and end-user support to enable efficient project delivery.

This position can be based out of any of our US TRC offices.


Responsibilities

  • Support Power Sector project teams with current Bentley ProjectWise Suite (Desktop, 365, Drive) inquiries, including installation of software, ISO certification support, Project customization, and/or training.
  • Provide ProjectWise project setup, user setup and permissions, implement system updates, and evaluate new versions and features of ProjectWise. Experience with ProjectWise workflow development is a plus.
  • Provide guidance and consultation relative to ProjectWise use on project delivery procedures for various project and program types (Transmission, Distribution, Substation, Efficiency, Renewables, etc.).
  • Work with Project teams to enhance Client integration and collaboration, where required, into the ProjectWise 365 environment.
  • Maintain and process all archival Power Sector data in ProjectWise (removing from active dataset and moving to locked down system).
  • Work with Power Sector CAD groups to ensure proper alignment and integration of CAD applications (e.g., Autodesk, Bentley, etc.).
  • Collaborate with Project Teams to integrate client standards, workspaces/work areas, and other relevant content for project management and project controls.
  • Manage and resolve Project Wise Service Tickets for the Power Sector.
  • Troubleshoot all installs/updates and issues revolving around the PW client program for users.
  • Participate in afterhours support, where required, to adhere to service level agreements.
  • Coordinate closely across IT and business operations to support technology initiatives as required. Coordination may include awareness of system upgrades, software installation, virtual systems, hosted solution, project status, etc.
  • Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, witness testing and certification of software.
  • Drive collaboration between the business and IT colleagues, constructively resolve conflicts, and properly influence key stakeholders.
  • Assist the Chief Digital Officer as needed with Digital Transformation related activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in ProjectWise administration or similar role for engineering projects using Bentley and Autodesk software.
  • Bentley Accredited ProjectWise Administrator is a plus.
  • Proficiency in ProjectWise PowerShell scripting preferred.
  • Proficiency in SQL preferred.
  • General understanding of document and data management systems, databases, servers, data migration, user access control, and help desk.
  • Knowledge of 3D Modeling and BIM methodologies is a plus.
  • Active directory and network folder permissions and server access experience.
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills and attentive listener
  • Detail-oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy and consistency.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and sharp business judgment
  • Open to new ideas and respectful of differing opinions/perspectives
  • Can readily adapt to change and is open to learning new skills.
  • Highly collaborative and can work cross-functionally, while cultivating relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Willingness to work across time zones and with international partners / colleagues.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.

Salary Range

USD $70,000.00 - USD $110,000.00 /Yr.
