Overview
The Salesforce Administrator will work as part of the SPG-Salesforce team, dedicated to ensuring that we are maximizing efficiency and capitalizing on the full features and benefits of the system based on the various user group needs. We are seeking someone with excellent Business and Salesforce/CRM skills who can interface directly with internal stakeholders to understand their needs in order to administer and enhance the system accordingly.
Responsibilities
- The ideal candidate will be assisting the Salesforce Manager by helping to administer our Salesforce platform and assist with development, resolution, and administrative duties.
- You will help respond to Salesforce Helpdesk requests as well as manage any data discrepancies within the Salesforce platform.
- You will also assist with needed Account merges as well as general Salesforce requests such as minor configurations and updates.
- You will be involved with the resolution of system stoppages that affect business, and be involved with the development and maintenance of the platform.
- You will participate with important platform decision making. Potential decisions required for the role includes Client support and recognition/reconciliation in the platform; Key conversions of accounts; System development, flows, SQL programming, and problem solving; and Cyber Security related issues, working with TRC Cyber staff.
- Additionally, you will be required to problem solve and work with the team on resolutions. Some potential problem solving required for the role include: participation in the resolution of platform errors, stoppages, and data integrity issues; responsible for the resolution of client reconciliation and integration issues participation in the resolution of ERP and Salesforce integration issues; and responsibility for the data clean-up and problem resolution related to client data
- In this role, you will work closely with Proposals, Marketing, Business development / Sales and a variety of Salesforce users.
- As a Salesforce administrator, you must be able to partner effectively with all levels of the organization, drive results, proactively identify and resolve problems and make challenging decisions.
- You will also be responsible for license management, ensuring new, current and terminated users are in compliance with our licensing and use requirements.
- This person will serve as the "go to" for users, promote adoption, keep current on new releases solutions, assist with consulting/training, reporting requests and more. Additionally, the coordinator will perform basic updates, such as adding new users, and assisting with creative solutions where technology and process can solve business problems.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience
Experience
Minimum 5 year's experience working with Salesforce
Software/Technical Skills
- Sound knowledge of Salesforce software, database structure, permissions etc.
- Ability to map processes
- Coding experience
- Understanding of databases and customer relationship management tools a plus
Personal Skills
- Ability to work harmoniously in a team environment
- Self-directed with sound organizational and time management skills
- Understanding of consulting business
- Solid interpersonal skills with ability to deliver effective customer service

General Skills
- A desire to learn Salesforce and applied knowledge.

- General knowledge of sales principles and/or experience dealing with salesforce a plus
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and demonstrate the ability to manage multiple initiatives effectively
- Ability to listen and follow directions
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce admin certification and/or successful completion with 1 year
- Salesforce Environment experience
- ERP and/or Deltek Vision experience
- Coding knowledge
- Cyber Security understanding/knowledge and/or experience
Other (Including Certifications Needed)
- Salesforce skills – Trailhead Ranger or equivalent
