TRC is looking for a business intelligence architect who possesses an in-depth knowledge of Power BI in an enterprise environment. Candidate will assist in supporting, building and troubleshooting as required. The engineer will also research, design, implement, optimize, and maintain technical documentation.

A successful candidate must demonstrate exceptional technical, communication, problem-solving and analytical skills. This person will be detail-oriented, self-directed, and self-motivated, and be able to effectively communicate with and share information within the IT organization and organization at large.

• Design, develop, and implement interactive and visually appealing Power BI reports.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective solutions.

• Optimize reports for performance and ensure they meet user requirements.

• Manage and administer Power BI service, including workspace management and user access control.

• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability of the Power BI environment.

• Implement best practices for security, data governance, and compliance within Power BI.

• Integrate data from multiple sources, including SQL databases, Excel files, SharePoint, and other cloud-based data sources.

• Stay updated with the latest Power BI features, updates, and best practices.

• 3 - 5 years of relevant experience as Power BI Developer or similar role with a bachelor’s degree.

• Proficiency in Power BI development, including report and dashboard creation.

• Proficiency of Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) and Power Query.

• Proficiency in SQL and ability to write complex queries.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good understanding of visual types, data modelling and ETL processes.
