Overview

TRC is seeking a Project Manager with Hazardous Building Materials experience to join our Woburn or Braintree, MA Office. This position would be working within our Building Sciences and Industrial Hygiene business within our Environmental Sector.


Responsibilities

  • Coordination and execution of regulated materials surveys for asbestos-containing materials, lead-containing materials, mold, indoor air quality, PCB's, universal wastes etc.
  • Preparation of regulated materials survey reports, abatement specifications, work plans, and Operation and Maintenance programs.
  • Manage regulated materials abatement oversight and air monitoring services.
  • Interact and communicate with clients, contractors and regulatory agency representatives.
  • Prepare project specifications and drawings.
  • Prepare reports.
  • Travel throughout Massachusetts and New England region is expected.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of an Associate-s Degree in Science or Engineering related field.
  • 3-10 years of experience in the hazardous building materials, indoor air quality, industrial hygiene industry is required.
  • Current or prior certification as an Asbestos Inspector and Project Monitor is required.
  • Must be able to read project specifications and drawings.
  • Must have prior experience in various aspects of abatement projects.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Intuitive and creative thinker. Understanding of their surroundings and reasons that services are being provided. A consultative demeanor and ability to work with clients and the ability to identify and offer solutions when needed.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to various work schedules and situations related to emergency response scenarios.
  • Valid Driver-s License is required.
  • Must be able to commute to project sites as needed.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and/or Certified Microbial Consultant (CMS) licenses are preferred but not necessarily required.
  • Experienced in business development and working with account teams to grow revenue.
  • An interest in business development.

Compensation: Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
