Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive individual who is ready to take initiative, follow direction, and who is looking for a career. Our St. Louis, MO office is looking for an experienced and motivated Marketing Coordinator/Graphic Designer to support the execution and delivery of marketing strategies for TRC’s demand-side management programs and general marketing initiatives. This role plays a crucial part in advancing our clients' marketing objectives and sales goals. This position reports to a regional senior marketing manager, works closely with other marketing and communications professionals on our team, and engages with program staff, external clients, contractors, management, and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, creates and produces creative marketing, advertising, multimedia, and sales materials for B2B and B2C markets to encourage participation in demand response and energy efficiency program(s).
  • Design and write content for marketing collateral, email campaigns, direct mail, newsletters, websites and other applicable marketing materials.
  • Experience with multi-channel print and digital campaigns.
  • Research, coordinate, and execute trade shows, workshops, webinars, and other client-facing events both virtually and in person to support the program’s strategic objectives.
  • Develop relationships with industry associations to maximize market penetration.
  • Measure results of marketing initiatives and develop reports that demonstrate their value to the business.
  • Work with company management, business development team, engineering team, and program operations team to keep on top of innovations and help implement marketing initiatives.
  • Manage and work with outside vendors for printing and mail house fulfillment.
  • Purchase promotional materials including, but not limited to, displays/signage, promotional printing, premiums, art, and photography.
  • Ensure up-to-date program information is available to all parties in digital and hard copy format; maintain program files in hard and soft copy formats.
  • Other responsibilities include but are not limited to program participant research, developing and presenting marketing reports, developing content for websites and social media, as well as basic administrative assignments.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED, or Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, related field or equivalent.
  • 3-6 years of experience working in marketing, advertising, communications, or relevant work experience.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud suite software including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. Graphic design experience a must.
  • Skilled in MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Must be detail-oriented while maintaining an overall understanding of marketing projects.
  • Initiative and the ability to work independently.
  • Sound analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent writing skills, including copywriting and proofreading experience.
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
  • Experienced and comfortable working with all levels within an organization.
  • Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Positive attitude, detail-oriented with great organizational skills, able to work against deadlines, results-driven, and able to juggle multiple projects.
  • Be prepared to submit writing and design samples upon request.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with survey, event management, email campaign, and webinar service platforms preferred.
  • Social media content management and experience with tools and platforms used to track and analyze social and website performance metrics desired.
  • Digital marketing and advertising strategy experience a plus.
  • WordPress experience preferred.
  • Project Management system experience preferred (Asana, Monday.com, Trello, Wrike, Confluence, Smartsheet, Notion).
  • Preference given to those with demand response/energy efficiency experience.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.

Salary Range

USD $56,992.00 - USD $71,198.00 /Yr.
