Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Data Software Engineer who is motivated to innovate, design, develop, test, and operate cutting-edge, large scalable, and enterprise SaaS security automation applications.

Our technology stack includes C#, Python, NodeJS, TypeScript, Angular, MongoDB, Postgres, Rest API, Microservices, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform and etc

In this position

At Swimlane you will be working with product management and design teams as well as the engineering teams to design, build and operate next-generation security automation and orchestration platforms and products.

• Design and develop core components of security orchestration and automation platform and core APIs that enable easier integration with complex 3rd party product eco-system
• Design and develop application components and data platforms for scale.
• Build and deliver security automation products that are intuitive and easy to use.
• Own features end-to-end throughout the software lifecycle, from defining non-functional requirements (e.g., scalability, security, observability) to design, implementation, testing, production monitoring, and continuous improvement, embracing DevOps/DevSecOps principles.
• Advocate for developing high-quality software and promote best practices to produce reliable, maintainable, and fault tolerant software.
• Raise the bar on engineering practices and code quality.

Requirements

• BS/MS/PHD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or relevant degree.
• 5+ years software development experience specializing in enterprise SaaS software
• Solid programming background in C#, Python, NodeJS, TypeScript or other object oriented languages.
• Extensive experience working with database warehousing platforms and operating data processing and storage platforms with terabytes of data.
• Strong nosql database and SQL knowledge including MongoDB, Postgres or MySQL.
• Have designed and built web applications and possess expertise in related concepts like web services, webhooks and API design.
• In depth knowledge of algorithms and data structures and their applications.
• Hands-on experience in cloud and devops technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, AWS and other services)
• Strong test automation skills.
• Continuous learner, technology enthusiast towards exploring unfamiliar areas and staying up-to-date with the latest trends in software engineering and technology.
• Good verbal and written communication.
