Technical Program Manager - Software Engineering (Cloud/SaaS)

We are looking for a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our Software Engineering department, building and delivering cutting-edge SaaS products. As a key partner to engineering, product and leadership teams, you’ll coordinate efforts, manage dependencies, and ensure smooth execution across the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC). Additionally, you will oversee release activities, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery while navigating cross-team complexities. Responsibilities:

• Drive the planning and execution of complex programs, ensuring milestones are met and deliverables align with organizational goals
• Manage the release process, from planning through execution, ensuring software releases are delivered on time and meet quality standards. Coordinate release schedules, mitigate risks, and resolve roadblocks
• Act as a champion of Agile/Scrum methodologies, facilitating ceremonies, improving processes, and ensuring teams operate efficiently
• Establish strong frameworks for managing dependencies across multiple scrum teams to deliver large-scale software solutions
• Understand and analyze the SDLC, proposing improvements to enhance productivity and quality
• Work across teams, levels, and hierarchies to align stakeholders, resolve conflicts, and foster a collaborative work environment
• Facilitate effective meetings, capture key action items, assign ownership, and drive resolution
• Create and manage JIRA dashboards, custom queries, and reports to provide visibility into project progress, risks and metrics
• Use data and facts to influence decisions, negotiating priorities and resolving disputes effectively

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; equivalent experience will be considered
• 5-8 years experience as a Technical Program Manager or related role in a software engineering environment, ideally working with cloud/SaaS products
• Basic familiarity with cloud concepts and terminology, desired
• Proven experience managing software releases, including scheduling, risk assessment, and delivery tracking
• Deep familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and frameworks
• Strong experience using JIRA for project management and generating meaningful reports & metrics
• Solid understanding of SDLCs, with the ability to propose and implement process improvements
• Excellent verbal & written communication, with the ability to navigate across teams and levels to drive alignment
• Demonstrated ability to build consensus and influence decisions through data-driven decisions
• Strong analytical skills to identify risks and dependencies, with a proactive approach to mitigation
• Proven record of strong leadership, communication, problem solving and organization skills
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
• Business and technical background in cybersecurity and security automation/orchestration, a plus
• Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, or SAFe Program Consultant, a plus
