Position Overview
Stream Security is seeking an experienced Sales Executive to drive business growth and establish our presence in the cloud security market.
This role combines strategic account development with the ability to leverage existing relationships in the cybersecurity space.
The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for new business development and revenue growth, focusing on enterprise customers in the western region of the United States. This role requires a proven track record of success in enterprise security software sales, particularly in cloud security or SIEM solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new logo acquisition through existing relationships and strategic prospecting within enterprise accounts
- Own full-cycle enterprise sales processes from initial engagement through contract negotiation and closure
- Leverage and expand channel partner relationships to accelerate market penetration
- Provide strategic insights to C-level executives, particularly CISOs, on cloud security challenges and solutions
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine go-to-market strategies and product positioningHe should demonstrate the ability to quickly understand and articulate Stream's value proposition while leveraging their network to accelerate sales cycles.
Requirements
- 10 + years of experience selling to the cloud security space, including to enterprises, and a proven track record in 'hunter' sales.
- Account Executive positions at minimum two different companies
- Prior experience as an SDR - big Advantage.
- Domain experience with the following required: SIEM\XDR providers, EDR\ Runtime providers, IAM providers, CNAPP, and Cloud providers like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Proven track record of effective selling within the specific geographical territory listed.
- Strong network and relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the cyber security space.
- Previous experience in early-stage startup companies, experience in building a business from the ground up, and acquiring initial customers.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in a competitive market.
- Proven success in lead generation, prospecting, pipeline generation, pipeline progression, negotiation, and closing complex sales cycles.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop effective sales strategies.
- Results-driven mindset with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and long-term business relationships.
- At least 80% of the people you have worked with put you in the top 10% of the people they have worked with.
- Advantage - Proven expertise in cyber attacks, of threat detection. and intelligence, , as well as collaboration with Secops, SOC, and Blue-Teams.
- This role requires someone who can operate effectively in a fast-paced startup environment while maintaining the sophistication needed to engage with enterprise security leaders.
Location - Position is based in the western United States (CA, OR, WA, AZ, NV, UT, CO preferred) with regular travel required for customer and partner meetings.
