Responsibilities

  • Ordering stock and fulfilling online orders via SmartRent’s e-commerce store.
  • Prep, re-package, and ship smart home hubs to field installation projects.
  • Work cross-functionally with various supporting teams (such as Client Success, Accounting, Product Management, and Field Installation groups).
  • Work with the Procurement Manager to determine purchasing needs and requirements.
  • Perform safe operation of material handling equipment for the purpose of receiving, sorting, counting, picking, and delivering materials with accuracy.
  • Assist in the reconciliation of inventory, load discrepancies and packaging.
  • Maintain and update accurate records of assigned inventory.
  • Standard inventory management procedures and develop necessary reports to facilitate accurate inventory counts.
  • Conduct searches to locate products within the system and adjust records when there are discrepancies. Take steps to correct and prevent discrepancies and make recommendations for process improvements.
  • Maintain security over inventory and in conjunction with management, monitor loss prevention programs.
  • Perform quality assurance tasks, which include learning to test our products, inspecting shipments, and reporting any malfunctioning products to management.
  • Encourage continuous process improvement to deliver an excellent experience every time, all the time.

Required Qualifications

  • 2 years related experience and/or training in a warehouse environment
  • Requires knowledge of and experience with inventory management procedures and general warehousing terminology and practices
  • Experience and proficient in database management, analyzing and reporting data regarding inventory issues, results, trends, solutions
  • Basic Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets skills
  • Physical requirements include sitting or standing in one position for a long period of time, up to 8 hours. Walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, moving or carrying objects that may weigh up to 50 pounds (e.g. boxes, pallets etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
  • Self-motivated with a deep affinity for problem solving
  • Always willing to roll up your sleeves and take on something hands-on

NOTE: Must be willing and able to commute to our Avondale, AZ warehouse Monday-Friday and work the hours of 8:00am-4:30pm AZ time (including potential overtime).
