About the Role :
Job Title: IT Systems & Operations Associate
Location: Pune, India
Experience: 1 to 5 years
The IT Systems & Operations Associate will play a key role in managing Sibros’ internal IT systems and global hardware operations. In this role, youwill ensure that employee devices and networks run smoothly while developing and implementing processes to track and manage hardware worldwide. This position sits at the intersection of IT, Operations, and Accounting — ideal for someone early in their IT career who’s eager to learn, take ownership, and grow into systems administration and automation.
What you’ll do:
Hardware Management (Product & Rental Equipment)
- Work with leadership to build and manage the end-to-end process for Sibros hardware (sold and rented units).
- Track orders, shipments, and returns; coordinate with Operations on logistics and with Accounting on payments.
- Maintain accurate global hardware inventory.
- Improve tracking tools and workflows for visibility and reporting.
- Act as the bridge across IT, Operations, and Accounting for all physical hardware movement.
Device Management (Employee Systems)
- Set up, deploy, and maintain laptops, desktops, and shared devices (Mac, Windows, Linux).
- Support onboarding and offboarding with timely device preparation and access setup.
- Handle imaging, updates, and software installations.
- Maintain internal inventory and assist with basic troubleshooting.
- Learn and grow into broader systems administration and automation work.
Systems & Access
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access across key company tools (Google Workspace, SSO, Jira, etc.).
Support system configurations and admin controls. - Ensure devices and systems meet company security and compliance standards.
Network & Support
- Maintain Ubiquiti network systems and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Support employees with network access, Wi-Fi, and VPN troubleshooting.
- Manage shared resources for remote meetings or testing.
- Help document IT procedures and system updates.
What you should know
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in IT support or a similar role
- Interest in working with and supporting Linux systems
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems and networking
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Go getter with a start up attitude
- Organized and dilligent
