This is an exciting opportunity for a product manager that wants to be directly responsible for scaling Sense technology into millions of homes globally.
As a Product Manager, you will help shape how Sense works on electric meters and integrates with utilities. This is an excellent role for someone with a firmware and/or systems integrations background who is deeply passionate about paving the future of energy efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage the product roadmap for integrating Sense’s core technology inside electric meters.
- Lead the process and write requirements for adding Sense core technology at scale to new electric utility meters globally.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, and software development teams to translate product requirements into clear and actionable user stories.
- Serve as the primary point of contact internally and externally including leading sessions with technical leaders from the utility companies.
- Manage electric meter product lifecycles including optimization, updates, and new capabilities.
- Identify and resolve conflicts, dependencies, and product issues quickly and efficiently.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with a team of firmware engineers, database engineers, network specialists, system architects, cyber security specialists, and quality assurance.
- Present and discuss Sense capabilities and requirements with potential utility customers and partners.
- 3+ years of product management experience, especially with products involving firmware, systems integrations, hardware.
- Able to be in the Boston office frequently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Experience leading the delivery of features / projects which have a high degree of cross-functional complexity and integration.
- You enjoy solving complex multi-faceted problems and love to dig into how things work to deeply understand them.
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for technology.
