Position Summary
The Key Account Analyst is responsible for providing analytic support for a large customer to enable better data-driven decision making and planning by management. This role will assist with: Providing a customer-wide approach to data management, improving information accessibility and horizontal information sharing across the business units, creating a unified and integrated view of our core data aligned with main customer objectives, and streamlining report generation through a combination of automation and process improvement, including invoicing system.
Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities
- Play a key role in a dedicated team to a large customer with a commitment to sustainability that is highly focused on data through oversight of the billing process from Statement to Audit.
- Assign charges to statements and resolve errors from Corrective Line Item statements.
- Assist with preparing and auditing statements for accuracy and streamlined processing.
- Manage escalations across the billing process.
- Identify reporting needs and create/improve weekly and monthly reports.
- Assemble and summarize data, make presentations of findings, and provide recommendations for cost savings and process improvement to senior management and clients.
- Conduct trending, forecasting, predictive modeling to identify patterns and get to the root causes.
- Document and enhance current reporting procedures.
- Share knowledge, expertise, and best practices with team members.
- Ability to travel and/or work onsite as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned or apparent.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This job has indirect leadership supervisory responsibilities - this role includes indirect oversight and guidance of team members, supporting workflow coordination, mentoring, and ensuring adherence to processes without direct managerial authority.
Experience & Qualifications:
- High school diploma required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field: 2+ years of relevant experience in business, and data project management
- In lieu of a degree, 5+ years of relevant experience in in business, and data project management
- Strong experience in financial and operational modeling.
- Collaborative, adaptable, and highly responsive to a fast-changing environment
- Proficient in advanced Excel formulas (Pivot Tables, reporting and building dashboards, charting/visualizations, etc.).
- Strong operational, analytical, and technical skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of program management.
- Ability to synthesize large amounts of data into snapshots appropriate for senior management use
- A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to take ownership of tasks and drive them to completion.
- Ability to work independently while also being a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
- Discretion and trustworthiness in handling sensitive information and supporting high-level strategic initiatives.
