Location: Tilbury, Ontario
Pay Range: $21.97 – $28.75/hour + Shift Premiums

This position works a 12 hour continental rotation and is located in Tilbury, Ontario.

Overview:
Resilient Structures is seeking a General Labourer to support daily manufacturing operations at our Tilbury facility. This position plays an important role in ensuring production processes run efficiently by assisting with material preparation, equipment operation, and product finishing. The role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced industrial environment and are committed to safety, quality, and teamwork. As part of the production team, you will contribute to delivering high-quality structural products while supporting a workplace culture grounded in respect, integrity, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and assist in production activities including filament winding, drill and cut operations, mandrel preparation, extractor crane support, fiberglass handling, and module preparation
  • Assist with equipment setup, basic troubleshooting, and ensure machinery operates according to work instructions
  • Inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure quality standards are met; report defects or concerns
  • Prepare modules, poles, and orders for shipment, including cutting, drilling, nesting, and packaging
  • Maintain proper organization and storage of materials to support production efficiency
  • Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, sealing, and upkeep of tools, equipment, and work areas
  • Support Quality Assurance with inspections, testing, and documentation
  • Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other equipment when certified
  • Participate in cross-training and support other production functions as needed
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
  • Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Training / Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Forklift/Lift Truck experience required; overhead crane experience is an asset
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
  • Ability to safely operate hand and power tools (drills, saws, grinders, routers, nailers)
  • Basic understanding of blueprints, engineering drawings, and metric/imperial measurements
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting 30+ kg repeatedly
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in hot, humid, or variable plant conditions
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork

Working Conditions:

  • Industrial production environment with exposure to heat, humidity, and moving equipment
  • Regular interaction with machinery, materials, and limited chemical handling
  • Physically demanding work including lifting, standing, and repetitive tasks
  • Required use of PPE including gloves, respirators, and protective clothing as applicable
