The Opportunity

We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to play a key role in supporting our plant operations and driving impactful HR initiatives. Reporting to the HR Manager, this position partners closely with leadership and employees to deliver effective HR solutions, enhance engagement, and ensure compliance in a dynamic, 24/7 manufacturing environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys being hands-on, building relationships on the production floor, and contributing to a strong, people-first culture.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Partner with leadership to provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and HR policies
  • Investigate and resolve employee concerns with fairness, consistency, and compliance
  • Coach managers on best practices, communication, and progressive discipline
  • Champion a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with workplace regulations
  • Manage disability claims and return-to-work programs
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting, from sourcing to offer stage
  • Support onboarding, employee development, and exit processes
  • Maintain accurate HR records, including employee files and documentation
  • Administer HRIS data and ensure employee lifecycle accuracy
  • Coordinate benefits, training programs, and HR initiatives
  • Deliver engaging new hire orientations
  • Partner with external vendors to support HR operations
  • Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement efforts

What You Bring

  • Diploma or degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • 5+ years of HR experience, ideally within manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and workplace safety
  • Experience with employee relations, investigations, and performance management
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (Dayforce experience is a plus)
  • Experience with benefits administration and enrollment processes
  • Ability to influence, coach, and build strong relationships across all levels
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for improving processes and employee experience

Nice to Have:

  • CHRP, PHR, or SHRM certification
  • Experience with disability management or return-to-work programs
