- Collaborate closely with the Director, Quality to ensure consistency of quality systems, documentation, and strategic alignment across all RS sites.
- Partner with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to identify quality risks, analyze root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions that drive lasting improvements.
- Lead internal and external audits, manage nonconformances (NCRs), and ensure timely documentation, resolution, and communication of quality issues.
- Work with suppliers to verify incoming material quality, strengthen supplier partnerships, and drive supplier development initiatives.
- Analyze and report key quality metrics, trends, and performance indicators to the Plant Director and leadership team, providing actionable insights and recommendations for process improvement.
- Support new product introductions and R&D testing by developing and validating quality standards, processes, and inspection methods that meet engineering and customer requirements.
- Promote a culture of quality, safety, and teamwork across the plant, ensuring alignment with RS's values of Safety, Respect, Resilience, and Teamwork.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related discipline required)
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in quality management or engineering within a manufacturing environment, with demonstrated success leading teams and systems through growth or scale-up.
- Strong background in quality assurance and control, with hands-on experience maintaining and improving ISO 9001 or similar certification programs.
- Proven expertise in root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action (CAPA), and data-driven problem-solving using tools such as Minitab or equivalent.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to improve process capability, yield, and product reliability.
