Ring Insights is looking for a passionate Quantitative UX Researcher to join our team. In this role you will help product managers, designers and other subject matter experts understand needs of our Neighbors. You will own multiple insight initiatives to help inform brand, design, product strategy, customer experience and marketing effectiveness. You will be the champion of quantitative user research and will execute research studies, drive strategy, roadmap, work with stakeholders, share insights that overviews user behaviors and needs. Drive improvements in infrastructure, process to develop quantitative research culture in the team. This role requires an individual with a passion for consumer behavior, excellent analytical abilities, and strong business acumen. Key job responsibilities
* Translate business, product, and design goals into strategic research opportunities. Conduct end-to-end user research, from foundational studies to advise product direction, from concept to production.
* Take ownership of the full research process, including writing questionnaires, analyzing data, and preparing comprehensive reports. Translate user insights into actionable recommendations to help cross-functional partners make informed decisions.
* Lead effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders across the organization, such as Trials, BI analytics, Data Science, Design, Product/Program Management, Consumer Insights, Brand Strategy, and others.
* Manage vendor relationships and research partners on large-scale, ad-hoc, and recurring quantitative research projects.
* Serve as a subject matter expert, responsible for coaching and mentoring teams and stakeholders on best practices in quantitative user research methods and techniques.
* Present research findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels, from individual contributors to senior leadership.
* Work collaboratively with other researchers and product managers to create product requirement documents (PRDs), PR/FAQs, and contribute to operational planning.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in quantitative user research, and proactively identify opportunities to improve and streamline research processes.
About the team
Ring Insights are responsible for capturing customer feedback to inform product strategy and design at all phases of concept creation and product development. We lead research activities to deeply understand human thoughts, feelings, motivations & behavior patterns. Using a wide range of research methods, we literally bring the customer into the room to complement traditional metrics data. We dive deep not just on what people do, but why they do it — often grounded in observation and customer behavior.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
7+ years of applied quantitative user research experience.
At least 5 years - in a software setting
Hands on experience with designing, executing & analysing data, in a variety of quantitative studies types:
* factor, cluster analysis;
* conjoint analysis (CBC, MaxDiff, TURF);
* U&A studies;
* Segmentation studies;
* Concept testing;
* Pricing studies;
Experience with managing complex multi-stage mix-method studies
Proficiency in using online user research platforms like Usertesting, User interviews, Maze, Qualtrics, Optimal Workshop, Surveymonkey, etc.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively represent the user's perspective and translate complex data into actionable insights
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify user needs and develop data-driven recommendations
Collaborative mindset and demonstrated experience working cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience with R, SPSS will be a plus.
* Experience with A/B testing
* Experience compiling big data sets into simple reports
* Experience in Smart home / Video surveillance / Video streaming field
* Experience with international, multi-country studies
* Basic understanding of Qualitative UR methods - usability testing, user interviews, ethnography, diary studies, etc
* Degree in a related field: human-computer interaction (HCI), cognitive psychology, sociology, human factors, or relevant working experience
