Sr. Financial Analyst, Ring Ops Finance

Ring is actively seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to provide financial support the company’s operations and cost efficiency efforts. You will be responsible for working with a team that will partner with Ring Operations to help them understand and manage their budgets and forecasts, quantify cost reduction efforts and proactively deliver cost related insights to relevant constituents. You will also facilitate communications across the organization, deliver insightful financial analyses and reports to internal and external Business Partners and work closely with the accounting function to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Locations for this role include: Los Angeles, CA area.
Key job responsibilities
• Provide visibility to Ring and Blink’s costs, including Bill of Material (BOM) and other cost of goods sold (COGS)
• Work with the finance team to maintain updated forecasts and identify and communicate areas that may require additional focus for the costs described above
• Quantify, track and inform cost reduction efforts from the business, develop financial models to forecast savings
• Monitor and communicate trends, and assess implications along with developing actionable strategies
• Work with cross functional teams (Logistics, Procurement, operations, Accounting, PM, Reverse Logistics, etc.) to manage their financial goals and drive efficiency and productivity
• Recommend, implement and report on benchmarks for measuring financial and operating performance
• Assist in the production and analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports to determine key drivers impacting the company’s performance
• Aid in various ad-hoc financial analyses and projects

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science), or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of Tableau
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
