DESCRIPTION

As a Technical Program Manager, you will engage with an experienced team to design and build innovative consumer products. You will work closely with the team to drive key aspects of product definition, execution, test and delivery. You must be responsive, flexible and able to succeed within a fast-paced environment.

The Technical Program Manager is responsible for creating the project plan, schedule, and key milestones. You will work with the product manager to derive the product requirements. The Technical Program Manager will drive team to deliver the product as per the agreed-to requirements. You will be responsible for the coordination and management of each supplier or manufacturer to deliver on the plan.

Key job responsibilities
Lead the efficient delivery of world-class hardware products
Drive schedule, cost and quality as part of the world-class hardware products includes Prototype, EVT, DVT, PVT and MP production build support
Interact with software engineering, hardware engineering and other key stakeholders to define and deliver programs
Drive team consensus on technical decisions and ensure that appropriate resources are employed to deliver high quality results
Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels
Create, maintain and disseminate project information to stakeholders
Drive execution of projects
Lead cross functional project meetings
Lead milestone reviews & present project status
Keep program artifacts up to date and manage project document repository

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 2+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- - Experience in working with overseas CM/OEM/ODM vendors in product development
- - Ability to drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple groups
- - Demonstrated ability to manage project/task prioritization, project planning and schedule development
- - Experienced in gathering requirements and developing specifications
