Amazon Development Center Taiwan is looking for an energetic, smart-working, and creative candidate to join our operation team in Taipei.

The Role and Responsibilities include:

[Supplier Management]
- Own supplier (ODM/OEM/JDM) relationship and manage business escalations
- Lead supplier (ODM/OEM/JDM) selection and contract negotiation
- Provide overall management and support for all business negotiations, covering cost, supply, and all vendor funding agreements
- Conduct regular business review with suppliers to ensure continuous improvement on scorecard performance
- Establish a competitive sourcing environment leading to continuous improvement in quality, cost, service and technology

[Cost Management]
- Manage cost (Non-material charge and NRE) from project RFQ throughout end of life
- Identifies and implements cost savings opportunities
- Have strong knowledge base to come out should-be Non-material charge/NRE and action for business negotiation with suppliers
- Familiar with leading RFQ activity and have ability to close the deal under financial guardrail

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Taipei, TPE, TWN


- 6+ years of experience in high-tech manufacturing/consumer electronics industry and managing ODM/OEM/JDM vendors for global enterprise consumer electronics brands
- In depth knowledge on factory operations and manufacturing process
- Strong communication skills, including presentation and negotiation abilities
- Demonstrated experience interacting with cross-functional teams (internally & externally) with the ability for effective communication
- Strong analytical skills (i.e. cost modeling, quotation analysis, supplier selection)


- Ability to innovate on issues related to strategic sourcing, vendor relations, quality assurance and the associated measurement systems
- People management experience
- Ability to develop efficient work processes for complex projects involving many groups, across multiple geographies and effectively coordinate, implement, and maintain those processes
- Able to deal complex communication cases
