DESCRIPTION

Ring is looking for a driven, strategic, customer-centric Category Manager with experience working in a high growth business operation. The Category Manager will be solution-focused and analytical, an expert practitioner in business planning, and have a strong bias for decision-making rooted in data and analytics. The candidate will have proven experience delivering results both within and outside their
organization. In this role, you will work cross functionally with business leaders across the company — including GTM, Channel, Sales, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Marketing and Finance — to drive sales and strategic growth in Offline and Online channels.

Successful candidates must work well in a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment, and will work alongside highly collaborative and entrepreneurial colleagues in a startup environment.

Key job responsibilities
• Develop and own product pricing models
• Own promotional calendar, forecasts and analyze results
• Identify new approaches for business growth, driving initiatives to increase category awareness, and creating processes to better manage the performance of the category over the long term.
• Partner with the other category managers in driving joint plans to drive our growth
• Partner with retail teams in offline and online channels regarding strategic business planning, and evaluating marketing solutions that drive profitable sales growth.
• Foster and facilitate alignment across the sales and marketing business unit around data and insights to develop the view on global growth and household formation.
• Collaborate in weekly, monthly, and annual business reviews and sales planning processes.
• As this role manages the ANZ (Australia / New Zealand) region working hours may vary. Occasional travel may be required.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree
• Multiple years of overall business experience
• Strong influencing & collaboration skills
• Strong quantitative analysis, problem solving, and project management skills
• Experience with and/or exposure to corporate planning
• Experience communicating complex business concepts in verbal and written form

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• MBA with relevant business experience
• Supply chain and forecasting experience
• Experience in the consumer electronics field
• Experience with data visualization software (i.e. Tableau, Power BI)
