Overview Of The Role

We are seeking a skilled Quality Engineer with experience in both automated and manual testing to join our team. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

Key Responsibilities

• Minimum of 3-8 years of professional experience in software testing and quality assurance, with expertise in automated and manual testing.
• Develop and implement test strategies, methodologies, and standards for automated and manual testing.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and project managers to understand requirements and define testing objectives.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both automated and manual testing.
• Drive the adoption of automated testing practices, including selecting and implementing appropriate testing frameworks and tools.
• Execute automated and manual tests to validate system functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Identify and prioritize test scenarios and use cases based on risk analysis and business impact.
• Conduct regular test status meetings, provide test reports, and communicate testing progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
• Mentor and guide QA team members in automated and manual testing techniques, providing technical expertise and coaching.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in testing and propose their adoption when relevant.
  
  

Desired Qualifications/Background

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, best practices, and industry standards.
• Experience in designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for automated and manual testing.
• Proficiency in automated testing frameworks and tools, such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Solid understanding of manual testing techniques and the ability to design and execute manual test cases.
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools, such as Jira, TestRail, or Quality Center.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex systems and identify areas for improvement.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
