Aeris Technologies Inc. is seeking an experienced Shipping and Inventory Control Specialist to manage incoming and outgoing flow of material related to the production of our laser-based gas analyzers.

This role will focus on coordinating shipments, inventory control, and cycle counts supporting the manufacturing of our MIRA Laser-Based Gas Analyzer family of products. Detail oriented organization, a team-oriented mindset, and great communication skills are critical as this position will be expected to work with all levels of the company staff, while reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager

The Shipping and Inventory Control Specialist must be able to effectively work with the manufacturing team to coordinate inventory control, and the shipping and receiving of all material, both domestically and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately and continuously track inventory and update reports
  • Working knowledge of inventory management software
  • Shipping and receiving of material and equipment domestically and internationally
  • Reliable and self-motivated, requiring minimal supervision after initial training
  • Demonstrate a growth mindset by learning and being a proactive member of the team

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 3+ years in a position managing inventory or comparable experience
  • 3+ years managing domestic and international shipments
  • Familiarity with ERP and/or inventory software, preferably Netsuite.
  • Base knowledge of accounting practices
  • BS/BA in business administration, logistics, or equivalent level of work experience
  • General technical knowledge of mechanical, electronic, and /or optical components as well as general familiarity of instrumentation

  • Salary range: $75,000 - $90,000 annual base
