MANDATE:

We are seeking a dynamic, highly skilled, and motivated individual for the role of Director, Training. The Director, Training will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of training programs that will empower our clients and employees with the knowledge and skills necessary to leverage our software solutions for renewable energy management. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our training initiatives align with our company goals, enhance customer satisfaction, and drive the adoption of our cutting-edge technologies. The individual should have practical knowledge and a deep desire to build an AI-enabled training program.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES:

· Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive training strategy that aligns with the company's objectives and supports the growth and scalability of our renewable energy solutions.

· Program Development: Design, implement, and continuously improve training programs, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training, workshops, webinars, and certification courses, tailored to various client and employee needs.

· AI Orientation: Develop training with an AI-first mentality.

· Team Leadership: Progressively build a team of training specialists, instructional designers, and support staff to ensure delivery of high-quality training experience.

· Content Creation: Collaborate with subject matter experts to create engaging, informative, and up-to-date training materials that effectively address the complexities of renewable energy technologies and software solutions.

· Performance Evaluation: Establish metrics and KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.

· Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their training needs, gather and interpret feedback, and ensure the successful adoption of our products.

· Technology Integration: Leverage the latest technologies and platforms to deliver innovative and accessible training solutions that enhance learning outcomes. Be able to make business case recommendations on tools that may be required to deliver on overall training objectives.

· Budget Management: Oversee the training department budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.

· Compliance: Ensure that all training programs comply with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in renewable energy.

· Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including product development, sales, professional services, customer success and customer support, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive training strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Education: Bachelor's degree; a Master's degree is preferred.

· Experience: Demonstrated experience in successfully building training programs – both for customers and employees – from the ground up.

· AI orientation: Knowledge and willingness to explore utilizing extensive AI to build the training function.

· Technical Skills: Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, software solutions (including SaaS), and instructional design principles.

· Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, with excellent management and mentoring skills.

· Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.

· Analytical: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess training needs, measure program effectiveness, and implement improvements.

· Client-focused: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and deliver training solutions that meet their needs. Proactive approach to collecting and disseminating feedback to improve training offerings.

· Innovative: Creative thinker with a passion for leveraging technology to enhance learning experiences.

· Organizational: Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

· Adaptable: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs.
