ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a skilled Python Software Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate is proficient in Django and PostgreSQL, with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building scalable and testable web applications. This is a remote position, so the ability to collaborate effectively in a distributed team is essential.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Develop, maintain, and improve web applications using Python and Django.
• Design, optimize, and manage PostgreSQL databases.
• Write testable code, including unit tests and end-to-end automation tests.
• Work closely with team members to implement new features and enhance existing ones.
• Participate actively in stand-ups, planning meetings, and team discussions.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Identify and resolve performance issues.
• Conduct code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

• Fluent English skills (both written and spoken).
• Strong experience with Python, Django, and PostgreSQL.
• Ability to write testable code and implement unit tests and end-to-end automation tests.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to discuss ideas and collaborate effectively.
• Experience participating in stand-ups and planning meetings.
