ABOUT THE ROLE
As we pursue our growth, we are looking for a professional Analyst, FP & A to join our Finance team in Canada. This role will be working remotely in Quebec/Ontario and will report to the Director, FP & A while working in close partnership with other members of the finance team.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Generate insights into business operations by analyzing results, drivers of variance, and other KPIs
- Support financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and monthly budget reviews
- Establish partnerships with all departments and cross functional teams to provide decision support, business analysis and provide excellent customer service.
- Suggest and implement planning and forecasting process improvements
- Lead initiatives to continually improve and automate tools used for financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting.
- Participate in special projects and take on other duties as assigned.
- Prepare ad hoc scenarios and sensitivity analyses for management
- Be a key player in the maintenance of data models.
- Build and showcase dashboards on Power Bi and Excel
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

Specifically, we are looking for someone with the following toolbox:
- Minimum 3 years of related experience in an FP&A role;
- [Mandatory] Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of NetSuite, Salesforce, Power BI, Vena (an asset)
- University degree in Accounting or Finance
- Attention to detail, creativity, curiosity, analytical mind, ability to solve problems.
- You embrace frequent changes and enjoy building flexible systems to support the changes
- Tech industry experience is preferred, especially within a SaaS environment
