ABOUT THE ROLE

As we pursue our growth, we are looking for a professional Director, FP&A and Revenue to join our Finance team in Canada. In this role, you will provide leadership and hands-on assistance in all aspects of the revenue cycle, including accounting compliance. The role will also play a significant role in reporting, analytics, and modeling across all divisions of the group. The Manager, FP&A and Revenue will be working remotely in Quebec and will report to the Chief Financial Officer while working in close partnership with other members of the finance team.


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Perform in-depth analysis of financial data, identify trends, and present findings to support business leaders in making informed decisions.
  • Play a key role in the monthly consolidation process, comprising multiple entities in different countries and currencies.
  • Assist in the development, tracking, and reporting of budgets and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Assist in the budgeting process.
  • Prepare regular financial reports and dashboards, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and variances to budget and forecasts.
  • Analyze cost structures and cost drivers to identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements.
  • Build and maintain financial models to support scenario analysis and strategic planning exercises.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, advice, and support for business initiatives.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in financial systems and databases, performing periodic reconciliations and validations.
  • Assist in implementation of FP&A tools.
  • Participate in special projects as required.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

Specifically, we are looking for someone with the following toolbox:

        • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Macros/Pivots/Functions), PowerPoint, and Word.
        • Experience working with various information technology and financial systems; NetSuite, Salesforce, Power BI is a strong asset.
        • University degree in Accounting or Finance and 10 years of relevant experience.
        • Professional Accounting Designation (CPA); is a plus, but not requirement.
        • Ability to work independently, multitask and manage multiple priorities in a changing environment;
        • Strong work ethic and standards;
        • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and conciseness, with strong technical and analytical skills;
        • You embrace frequent changes and enjoy building flexible systems to support the changes
        • Tech industry experience is preferred, especially within a SaaS environment.
        • Experience preparing board packages, including complicated slide packages to convey information to the ELT and Board of Directors
