About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Operations Analyst to support our GTM teams by maintaining data integrity, optimizing processes, and driving operational excellence in Veritas (Salesforce). This role ensures our sales data, pipeline, and bookings are accurate, reliable, and actionable — enabling efficient forecasting and business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Salesforce Data Management & Accuracy
- Maintain clean, accurate, and up-to-date data across accounts, opportunities, and pipeline.
- Perform regular duplicate cleanups and account hierarchy reviews.
- Monitor and correct data inconsistencies
- Conduct pipeline reviews to ensure opportunities are updated with accurate close dates and stages.
2. Bookings Processing & Quote Approvals
- Manage bookings processing
- Verify that all opportunity data meets operational standards prior to deal closure.
- Identify and escalate issues
- Review and approve quotes daily, ensuring accuracy in amount, payment milestones, and invoicing details.
- Collaborate with Sales Engineers and other teams to maintain compliance with approval checklists.
3. Operational Support & Collaboration
- Act as the primary point of contact for Veritas-related issues across Sales, Delivery Operations, Finance, and RevOps.
- Troubleshoot data and system issues with Account Executives.
- Monitor collaboration requests and ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
- Proactively identify process improvement opportunities to streamline sales operations.
What Success Looks Like
Within 1 Month:
- Understand core sales processes, pipeline stages, and forecast cadences.
- Successfully process opportunities in Veritas.
- Confidently review and approve quotes.
Within 3 Months:
- Independently manage month-end closing activities.
- Establish regular cadence for pipeline and account clean-ups.
- Handle the majority of Sales Ops requests autonomously.
- Build strong communication with cross-functional stakeholders.
Within 6 Months:
- Fully own day-to-day Sales Operations in Veritas.
- Ensure accurate pipeline data (record types, close dates, hierarchy).
- Manage quarter-end closing and quote approvals with consistent SLAs).
- Serve as the go-to expert for Veritas and Sales Ops data-related issues.
- Drive strong collaboration across GTM, Finance, and Delivery teams.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations, or related roles.
- Strong Salesforce (or CRM) data management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical mindset.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across multiple teams
- CPQ experience would be considered an asset
